Singleton is the secondary antagonist of The Sandlot 2. He is the ruthless leader of the Little League.
Biography[]
Singleton is the son of the little league's coach. Singleton is a pretty good baseball player but doesn't have the bite for his bark. He is played by Reese Thompson and is in the second movie.
Singleton has a bitter rivalry with David Durango and his Sandlot team. When they show up at Singleton’s baseball diamond along with Johnnie, Hayley, Penny, and Jenny, he immediately proceeds to taunt them, which leads to name-calling between the two groups, ending with Singleton saying Mac plays ball like a girl, shocking the others.
On Friday, the two teams face off in a game to determine who gets the Sandlot. Thanks to Hayley’s underhand pitching, David’s team gets the upper hand. Singleton, out of anger about knowing he is going to lose, hits Hayley in the stomach just as she about to reach home plate, outraging David and his teammates. David, furious about what Singleton just did to Hayley, punches him.
Singleton is seen again later on, playing baseball when David rides by, being chased by Goliath, splashing him with water from a puddle; the rest of David’s team then bike through the diamond, each of them splashing Singleton.
